Gordon Banks is 62 and lives in Hove with his wife. He has been a Church Army Officer since 1978 and currently works for the Diocese of Chichester although has served in a variety of posts around England before then. As well as this and being an extremely important member of the Planning team, you will often see him running around Sussex “only 12 miles today” – phew! Palm Sunday Review
Yesterday we joined with Movement in Worship and Psalm Drummers (who were a last minute, but very valued, addition!) to celebrate Palm Sunday with a Walk of Witness. We met at 12pm near the West Pier and walked along the seafront to the bottom of the Old Steine and up to St Peter’s Church, ending where our Passion of Christ production will take place next Easter Sunday. We were absolutely blessed with the weather and able to brighten up Brighton even more with beats from Psalm Drummers and movement from the colourful banners directed by Movement in Worship.
